Local experts will tell tales of famous and infamous cemetery residents, as well as a few mysterious occurrences, with actors bringing the stories to life before your eyes. The spooky tour is hosted collaboratively by the North Lincoln County Historical Museum, Taft Pioneer Cemetery Association, and Theatre West. Tours run every hour from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
Artisan Faire at Salishan
The Shops at Salishan Resort is hosting a weekly Artisan Faire featuring vendors from all around Oregon offering unique crafts and handmade artisan products, including some great gift ideas for the upcoming winter holidays and other special occasions. The faire runs on Fridays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM with upcoming dates confirmed on September 27 and October 4.
Oktoberfest at Beachcrest Brewing
If you love beer, food, music, and games, then you are in luck. Beachcrest Brewing is celebrating Oktoberfest this Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29 with multiple seasonal beer releases, delectable dishes to sample, fun games for all ages, and loads of live music with no entry fee. Saturday’s music acts include John Bringetto playing polkas and German beer drinking favorites on the accordion from 2:00 to 4:00 PM; Corwin Bolt & the Wingnuts playing old-time, new-time, ragtime, blue-time, and country-blues encrusted with country-gold from 4:30 to 6:30 PM; and Run and Tell That Duo playing favorite singalong tunes from 7:00 to 9:30 PM. John Bringetto will play again on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, followed by Sitka Band playing jazzy, trippy, folkadelic rock from 4:30 to 7:00 PM.
Lincoln City Farmer’s & Crafter’s Market
The Lincoln City Farmers & Crafters Market is always a great place to enjoy the local bounty with all items for sale being either homegrown or handmade by its seller in a festive, outdoor marketplace setting. The market runs on Sundays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Lincoln City Cultural Center on Northeast Highway 101, with upcoming dates confirmed on September 29 and October 6.
