"We absolutely loved staying at this location. It was a very short walk down to the beach. The view from the property was breath taking. We enjoyed walking to grab food at the BBQ place down the street. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space for our group of 6. The general condition of the place was good. Well maintained and cleaned but a bit of an older build (absolutely nothing against that). I also locked myself out of the property and received wonderful customer service.

We had the PERFECT weekend and can't wait to stay again. "

"Once a year my sisters and I take my mom to Lincoln City for a weekend. Your home provided plenty of room for the 5 of us. We walked on the beach each day, went shopping at the outlet stores and antique shopping downtown. I expected the kitchen to be supplied with better tools and equipment. Every knife was dull and there was no coffee grinder. The property management company was professional but not as friendly as when I stay at an Airbnb."

"Enjoyed our week, the views were wonderful. House was very nice.

Only problem was coffee pot leaked all over the first morning. There was a 2nd coffee pot, that we thought was strange when we arrived. Guess we figured out why the hard way.. Maybe remove broken one, or a note that says large pot leaks, only for Keurig cups."

"Wonderful views of the ocean, easy beach access, beds very comfortable and overall a great week at the coast. House is starting to show its age as we had to call for service on a few items (one that left main bathroom inoperable) the management team was very pleasant and easy to talk to. I do recommend investing in some plumbing bathroom upgrades for the price and location it was economical."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home overlooking the Oregon beaches. The property was comfortable, clean, and well kept. Highlights of our stay were the McMinnville area museums and wine tasting and the whale watching center at Depoe. All of the little communities are so scenic and friendly. Delicious seafood dinner at Kyllo's and the chowder at the Horn Public House in Depoe was the best I've ever had. I'd love to do it all again."

"Nice to return to the Seamist after several years. The unit is clean and crisp. Great views, quiet, good location with easy access to the beach or town. Enjoyed our stay of two nights. BUT that mattress on the hide-a-bed has such a crater in the center it really needs to be replaced. It would also help if the kitchen knives were sharper and kitchen lighting was brighter. Other than those three items, it's a great place to spend time at the beach. "

"A charming updated older home with a killer view. We very much enjoyed our quick getaway to the beach after being stuck in ice in the valley. The house is amazingly located right on the beach and dining room extension is a perfect place to curl up and just watch the ocean. The three sleeping areas worked well for 4 adults and 2 kids. The gas fireplace is a real plus during a winter visit. There was plenty of comfortable seating for all and good TV options. The beach access is so close and we had a couple opportunities to run down to the sand. The kitchen is adequately outfitted, although it might be time to update some of the chipped dishes and older pans. Also be aware that this is above the only 150 ft of beach access where vehicles are allowed in Lincoln City during the winter. it's closed to vehicles in the summer. It was a little disconcerting to see vehicles doing donuts on the beach while people were walking by. The A-1 staff were very responsive and made the process of booking and checking in very easy. "

"The home was cozy and comfortable with an incredible view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. The space easily accommodated our family with plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for some memorable meals in the dining room where the wrap-around windows made us feel like we were on the beach but with all the benefits of the cozy house. Our kids were able to totally make them selves at home, the shower by the front door and the big tub upstairs made it easy to clean off and warm up after a trip to the ocean. We discovered some really excellent restaurants nearby and really enjoyed our time in Lincoln City. "

"I always rent homes with ocean front views, but often the furnishings are not setup to take advantage of the view. This house is different! There is a nook with windows on three sides, with a beautiful view of the ocean and a love seat setup right in front of the window to take advantage of the view. Perfect!"

"Loved this house! Location was just a short walk from the beach, excellent dining, and the Lincon City Cultural Center. House was clean and well organized. Interior stairways are a bit steep, but we were warned. The window room was a treasure! We watched sunsets, storms, and stars from the comfort of that couch."

"We had a wonderful time at the Seamist. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the view was stunning. For me the best part was the couch in the dining room area where I could sit and watch the ocean. I must have at there for hours! My 8 year old daughter enjoyed all the games and we especially had a good time playing Jenga! The walk to the beach was short and easy and we spent a lot of time there as well. I was impressed with the linens on the beds and was oh so comfortable. We didn’t do a lot of cooking because we ate out but they have a coffee pot that uses regular coffee not k-cups, so I would bring that next time. The fire place in the living room was so cozy and we used it a lot. There is also a smart tv so you can log into your Netflix or HBO and watch TV, there are also live channels. We would definitely stay here again! I love this house! "

There are a set of stairs to descend to get into the house and a set of somewhat steep stairs inside to go to the upstairs bedroom. We would stay there again."

"Great overall experience. Delightful house directly overlooking the beach in the heart of Lincoln City. Very nice rental, super clean, with everything we needed! Can easily sleep six (just two of us). Upper bedroom requires steepish stairs to climb. You should be aware there are steps down to enter the house from the parking area - not an issue for us but could be for some. Parking area is paved and very nice with immediate access to the stairs descending to the rear of the house. Management did an excellent job of communication!"

"Booking was quick and easy. When we arrived at the house there was no

Luckily we were able to reach the office and the maintenance guy came by and let us in. Was a little disappointed in the house and furnishings as compared to our last stay. Had some difficulty in adjusting the temperature up. The staples in the linoleum at the door were tacky and kept a tripping hazard at bay. House was clean and beds were comfortable. Enjoyed our annual trip to the beach"

"The house and view were beautiful. It would be a great idea to mention that there are a lot of stairs, some of our party found them extremely difficult, The lighting on the outside stairs did not work at all, which made them dangerous at night. One of the fire extinguishers was missing, another one didn’t function."

Please mention a request for few steps next time you book a stay. There are a few oceanfront homes with no steps into the property.

"The fireplace didn’t work and a couple of the mattresses need updated. One bed on the main floor plus the top bunk bed upstairs smelled of urine."

"We enjoyed our stay at Sea Mist. While we were not prepared for the amount of stairs (elderly and mobility issues), the view was stunning and the home was cozy. There was some film on the outside of the windows. But we used the hose to clean them to maximize the breathtaking views of the Oregon Coast. Amazing location too!"

Yes, there are stairs as you mention; a1 has several properties where this is not a problem when mobility is mentioned upon booking. Thanks for hosing off the windows of the constant ocean mist! "Our family loved the stay at Sea Mist! Everyone wished they had more time to spend gazing at the ocean, watching the sunsets, and beachcombing.

My only negative comment would be about the air fresheners in the plug ins. The smell was overwhelming upon arrival and we ended up taking some of them out......almost noxious."

"Three couples over 50 thoroughly enjoyed this home. We were in Lincoln City for the Annual Kite Festival and we could see some of the kites from the front yard. The beach access is close by and it was very entertaining to watch the cars that parked on the beach below us - many of which became stuck in the sand. The dining area/sitting room was perfect for watching the waves, the people, and whales! Yes - we saw whales from the house! "

"The house is perfect and the view from the living room can’t be beat! A walk to the beach is just a block. Everything you’d want to do in Lincoln City is conveniently located. It’s my favorite place to stay when I’m at the beach! A-1 Beach Rentals makes arrangements so smooth & easy, as well!"

"I really love this place but I went under some bad conditions. I went sick because I could not get my money back so I ended up in bed for most of the 3 night stay. I didn't want to loose 700.00 dollars. The view is great. Maybe next time I will go with better conditions....."

"First off change your picture to the right. There are not two cushy chairs with arms in that room!!!! Very misleading!!!
Going towards the house on the steps the railing has come apart from the frame. Very dangerous!!!
The house is nice. Beds were so so. But I asked if there were 6 beds and there were only 4 and a top bunk! For 70 yr old women not a good thing!!! One lady couldn't go and the 5th one slept on the couch!!!
No the house had not been cleaned when we arrived after 3pm! After a phone call a lady did arrive and made the beds put out towels and took out the garbage! Nothing else.
The location is good. Lots of entertainment watching the cars get stuck on the beach.
The best part of all was the view from that room!!!"

"Our stay at the Seamist was absolutely glorious! We are 4 retired ladies that worked together for over 30 years. This house was everything we hoped for and more. We spent hours in the sunroom watching all the activities on the beach. The proximity to the beach was great for two of use that liked to walk and an easy drive to all other activities in the area."

"4 ladies shared this house. As soon as we unlocked we saw whales spouting just outside the big windows. One of our group is in her 80's, so the view was great for her. The beach access was too steep for her however, so we drove down to the D River parking lot where it was easier for her."

"The view was awesome! The house was clean however when we arrived all the bedding and most of the towels were stuffed in the dryer and had to be taken out and dried in 3 loads so we couldn’t make the beds. Even though it wasn’t a long walk to the beach, the advertising was rather deceiving as I believed the house to be on the beach not a cliff "

"The home was comfortable and we had everything we needed. They do ask you to do a load of laundry when leaving but don't provide any washing machine detergent. "

"We are 5 high School girlfriends in our 70s that have stayed at Seamist 5 times over the last 6 years. We love the house. There is a car access to the beach close by providing entertainment as some cars need to dig themselves out of tet sand. Short distance to Safeway,outlet stores and the casino. There is a flight of stairs down to get to the house. "

"We had a very enjoyable stay in Lincoln City. The unobstructed ocean view from the enclosed room was amazing . We were able to watch the whales spouting, and all other beach activity from the room overlooking the beach. There are quite a few steps leading down to the house and the bedrooms are small, we had to keep our things in two separate rooms. The steps leading upstairs, where there is a bed, bunkbeds and bathroom, are fairly steep. I would recommend this to small groups and it would not be good for people with physical limitations. "

"Our party included 2 adults and 2 teenage boys and everyone loved it. You cannot beat the location and the view - when it was too cold or windy to walk on the beach we would just sit in the sun room and stare at the waves. The house is comfortable - it has all of the amenities you would need (dishes, glasses, coffee pot, towels, tp etc) although the coffee pot takes forever to brew. The fireplace is also wonderful especially when coming in out of the cold. The kids appreciated having a t.v and we appreciated the wifi. We were 100% satisfied with our stay and would recommend this spot for families.

Wonderful getaway

"The entire stay was wonderful. From the time we walked into the house, till we left! It had marvelous views, super clean, many amenities. It felt like a home, not a hotel. Its located in the perfect spot for people watching, whale and surf watching too. The deck was great for cocktail hour to watch the sun set !. Loved the privacy that comes with staying in the house. We were suppose to stay back in September, the weekend of the fires. Linda was wonderful to work with, we easily changed our date to this weekend. All worked out just great. Already booked two other stays for this next year ! "
